With 2025 coming to an end in a matter of weeks, it's time to fill you all in on my plans for the release of Through the Darkness. As many of you will know, Through the Darkness releases on the 26th of February next year, just over two months away! And boy, oh boy, do I have some big things to share!
Big Things of 2026!
Another university graduation!
By the end of this month (possibly early Jan), I'll have finished my Graduate Certificate of Domestic and Family Violence Practice.
This has been a long time coming, and I've learnt a lot. So much, in fact, that I've been able to apply some of my theoretical learnings into Through the Darkness and a couple of my next releases.
ARCs!
Yes, I am planning for ARCs to be released.
As I am still working with my cover artist, there will most likely be a placeholder cover designed by me. It'll just be an image that I've taken that relates to my novel (one of the ones I've used on my IG/TT/YT).
The forum won't be released until early January, with Through the Darkness set to go out two-three weeks before the official release date.
The ebook will be available on my site
If you would like to buy solely through me. The ebook will be available for purchase directly from my site. Unfortunately, there will be no pre-order for the ebook here. That said, Through the Darkness is currently available for preorder on Kobo 😊
Also, there will be the typical terms and conditions upon purchasing the electronic copy directly from me.
You will also notice that my ebook will not be available on Amazon. This is because of their AI features that they're introducing.
No clue why they thought this was a good idea. Especially if authors cannot opt out, besides taking down the ebook — hence, my ebook will not be available on the platform.
Secrets?
I do have some things in the pipeline, but whether or not they're feasible is another story. If they do work out for the better, I will inform all of you, but that most likely won't come until late January.
Get ready, 2026 is going to be a year.
I also have a few things to share for well after Through the Darkness has been released, but everything in due time.
